About the Priest Lake Triathlon
The Priest Lake Triathlon offers athletes scenic, exciting sprint-distance race courses for competitors of all experience levels. The swim follows the perimeter of Hill’s Resort Marina—perfect for swimmers new to open water. Our road cycling course is rolling and flat, while our off-road cycling course is challenging and fun. The run segment takes athletes along the shore of Priest Lake on a packed dirt road.
Compete as an individual or with a relay team. Relay teams may have 2 or 3 members, and teammates may complete any combination of legs.
This race sells out! Don’t wait to register.
Race Day
Packet pickup and day-of registration is at the start line on the day of the race only. Registration will close 30 minutes before the first race’s start time. Please arrive early for day-of registration!
All distances start and end at Hill’s Resort.
Stay for the post-race food, beverages and celebration at the finish line after your race.
Parking & Directions
Take Hwy 57 north from Priest River to Luby Bay Rd. Follow signs to Hill’s Resort on West Lakeshore Rd, and then follow race signage and parking volunteers’ instructions for event parking.
The start/finish area is near the Hill’s Resort entrance sign on West Lakeshore Rd. Check-in areas will be well-marked.

Hill’s Resort: Walk to and from the start line! Find race weekend accommodations at Hill’s Resort.
Reserve Idaho State Park campsites early for best options.
Awards & Perks
Custom technical fabric shirts and finisher awards.
Awards party with complementary recovery food and drinks, one complementary draft beer for perticipants over 21, and an post-race lunch for a small fee.
Overall (top 3) and age group awards. Age groups are 0-14, 15-19, 20-24… 70+. Team awards for top 3 teams. Placements based on chip time. NOTE: Overall top 3 and Team entries remove you from age group awards.
