Race the Wolf: MickDuff’s Sky Climb

Course Description
Climb. Finish. Get your stainless steel trophy cup. Fill with a free beverage. Enjoy the scenic chairlift ride back to the bottom. We’re stoked to announce that the Sky Climb is now sponsored by MickDuff’s! Finishers receive a free drink coupon with their trophy cup at the top by the Sky House to fill with your choice of beverage including soda, lemonade or yes, a tasty MickDuff’s brew while you soak in your achievements.
Race the Wolf’s MickDuff’s Sky Climb takes runners from Schweitzer Village to the Sky House in one mile, straight uphill. This is a tough 1660’ off-trail climb with uneven footing over rocks, dirt, clumped grass and shin-high shrubs. The route is well-marked, and you’ll be able to hike upright without crawling or grabbing objects for stability. Poles are permitted. Don’t forget to take a breather to admire the epic views in all directions on your way up.
Terrain:
Paved at the starting line, then 100% off-trail.
Perks:
Athletes may take the lift back down free of charge.
Sky Climb athletes earn a Race the Wolf stainless steel trophy pint glass at the finish line—right at the Sky House where you can fill it with your favorite beverage, for free compliments of Mickduff’s Brewing! Complete the Sky Climb on its own, or run a second Race the Wolf event to become an Alpha Wolf. All Alpha Wolf finishers completing two or more races take home a custom stainless steel Alpha Wolf pint glass.
